Project 1: Social Change: In order to fully execute our view of the literary revolution, the Warrior Poet Group feels it necessary to simultaneously become involved with social groups larger than ourselves. We believe that through advocacy, we can help restore a sense of peace, while cutting down upon greed, corruption, and wanton pollution in the name of capitalism, sloth, and ignorance. For this project, we have decided to come together and select a handful of organizations in which we will become active participants, be it through donations, spreading information, or political activity. Because we hail from the Appalachian area, Mountain Top Removal strip mines are high on our list. In addition, we are looking into ther environmental atrocities as well as advocacy groups against capitalism, corporate greed, and low educational standards.
